Welsh Government Repayable Finance
Welsh Government support is now repayable. Generally no interest is charged and finance is provided to help fund capital investment, job creation, research, development and innovation and certain eligible revenue projects, based around the WG priority sectors of: Advanced Manufacturing and Materials. Creative Industries, Construction, Energy & Environment, Financial & Professional Services, Food & Farming, ICT, Life Sciences and Tourism. WG repayable finance is available to:
- Eligible businesses within nine priority sectors defined as playing a particularly important role in the future of Wales’ economy
- Strategically important projects outside of the priority sectors such as a compelling research, development or innovation project.
- ‘Anchor businesses’ within or outside the priority sectors which are significant global or international players, have headquarters or a large corporate presence in Wales or provide significant employment within a particular region or sector.
