Our Previous Marketing Campaigns
2012 marks our 10th anniversary of delivering high-quality sustainable inward investment into the South East Wales region from the UK and Ireland. To mark this occasion we’ve added all our previous marketing campaigns, which we carried out from 2003 through to 2010, for you to ‘enjoy’. Our Campaigns:
2003/4 - Board Meeting Campaign - "It's one board meeting after another" This was our very first campaign and used to sell the Work:Life balance and fabulous coastline available in the South East Wales region. Wales Rally GB Poster - This was a poster campaign used around the Wales Rally GB in 2003.
2004/5 - This was the first golf-themed campaign this was launched during the 'Bid' for the Celtic Manor Resort in Newport to host the 2010 Ryder Cup
2005/6 - This was our second golf campaign and the first completed in partnership with Capital Region Tourism and was linked to the Official Wales bid for the 2010 Ryder Cup. To coincide with the joint Golf Business/Tourism campaign "The Little Green Book" was published a Guide to Business, Golf & Leisure in South East Wales.
2007/8 - To coincide with a revamped website a brochure was produced selling the entire business offer to potential inward investors. The campaign for this year was a 'Different Time Zone’ – A new approach was taken to the Work:Life concept the campaign was based around a different time zone with businesses in the region having more ‘down-time’ and freedom to explore all that South East Wales had to offer.
2008/9 - New Shoes Campaign – With the 2010 Ryder cup less than two years away a return to Golf and Business was chosen, for the 2008/9 campaign. The campaign centred around putting on a pair of new business shoes. 18 Reasons booklet - With the marketing theme returning to golf a new booklet was produced providing 18 ‘driving’ reasons to locate a business in South East Wales.
2009/10 - Golf Black Hole Campaign – A striking image of a golf ball perching on the edge of the hole was chosen for the 2009/10 campaign focusing on the 2010 Ryder Cup and the Global economic downturn. 18 Reasons Direct Mail – A direct mail mail-shot was produced with a entry form to enter a competition to win tickets to the 2010 Ryder Cup attached. A new business report was also published as an aid to businesses considering the advantages of investing in South East Wales, it dealt with all aspects of living in the region
2011/12 - A strategic change took place throughout 2011 we no longer advertise through hard-copy instead we started a-fresh with a new creative agency and went digital. So far we’ve created this website, launched on LinkedIn and Twitter.
2012/13 - We've produced our new brochure. We'll be developing our website even further to provide you - our clients - with the information they want and need. Developing our LinkedIn activities and producing a whole series of videos for our YouTube Channel with even more ideas in the pipeline.
