Welsh Government Digital Development Fund
The Welsh Government's Digital Development Fund aims to support creative industries in developing digital opportunities.
The Fund aims to support new creative products and services that can be exploited across multiple digital platforms and in international markets with the goal of accelerating the growth of Creative Industries businesses in Wales.
The fund offers clear potential to achieve significant sales revenues from commercial deals.
The Digital Development Fund provides funding up to £50,000 and up to 50 per cent of each project. Support given under this fund is not repayable. It is expected that applications will usually be above £5,000; however, applications under this amount will be considered in exceptional circumstances.
Projects must involve creative products or services, which can be exploited across multiple digital platforms and in international markets.
Applicants must be registered as businesses or have a substantial business base in Wales and be able to demonstrate how their product or service will be exploited commercially.
The fund is a 12-month pilot and we welcome any feedback that can help us to improve our service. As the fund is rolled out, eligibility criteria and guidance may be amended where required.
